The majority of the text on this blog is written by Hikaru, a ball jointed doll. Try not to question it. The text written in pink font is commentary from Hikaru's human friend, Anna. Basically Hikaru does most of the writing and Anna keeps her from getting too out of hand.

Finding Doll Props: More Food Erasers and a Tea set?

This post may contain affiliate links, please check out my disclosures page for more info.  Thanks!

Oh, what joy!  Anna has brought home more delightful doll props, at least I am hoping.

A msd sized ball jointed doll holding two shopping bags, one for Target and the other for 99 Cents Only Store.

Anna made trips to both Target and the 99 Cents Only Store.

A ball jointed doll peeking in a Target shopping bag to see what's inside.

Well, let us first see what is in the Target bag.

A package of fun food shaped erasers bought from the party supply aisle at Target.

It’s a bulging package of food shaped erasers.  Anna says she found them among the party supplies.

They are quite similar to some of our previous food purchases (see Finding Doll Props: Erasers and Office Supplies and Find Doll Props: At the Party Store?).

A nicely arranged assortment of food shaped erasers including, ice cream cones, other frozen treats, cakes, hot dogs, sandwiches, hamburgers and french fries.

Quite an assortment of food, there are various cakes, ice cream, sandwiches, hamburgers, hotdogs and French fries.

Two ball jointed dolls looking at the assortment of cake shaped food erasers.

Almost all of it is junk food!  Couldn’t Anna have gotten something healthier?

“But Hikaru, I thought you loved cake. :)“

The first ball jointed doll holding a strawberry cake shaped food eraser.

That’s different, fine cakes and sweets such as these are certainly not junk.

The first ball jointed doll scolding a smaller (yosd sized) doll for reaching for the junk food shaped erasers.

Sakura, keep your hands off those French fries!  They are horrible for you.

The smaller ball jointed doll wondering why she can't have a french fry.

“Why is it bad for me to have French fries, but okay for you to have cake?”

Yes, Hikaru.  Why is the cake okay?

…Um…Cake is different…

Anyway, there doesn’t seem to many options for Shiro.  Luckily, we already have apples and plenty of tea.

Now we should see what is inside the 99 Cents Only Store bag.

A plastic toy tea set bought from a dollar store.

It is a plastic tea set in pink and yellow.  At first glance, I can’t really say much about the quality.

The set of plastic dishes, neatly arranged to serve tea for up to four dolls.

After opening the package and setting it up, this tea set doesn’t appear quite as cheap.

A doll holding the tea pot to show off the pretty design. It is pink with a yellow lid and has a heart shapes and flowers on it.

The scale seems a tad off, just look at how large this tea pot is compared to my dainty hands.

But Hikaru, a larger tea pot means more tea for you and the others to drink.

The ball jointed doll holding a tea pot to show off the size in proportion to her. It is almost the right size for her.

That is a good point, the tea seems to go so quickly around here lately.

Another ball jointed doll holding one of the tea cups, it looks like a large decorative mug for her size.

Though it may still go too quickly with the size of the tea cups.  They look almost like mugs, particularly attractive ones at least.

The smaller ball jointed doll holding one of the plates and spoons. She doesn't seem to care that they are too big for her, she just wants to eat now!

And the matching plates and flatware seem particularly gargantuan compared to Sakura here.  However, she seems particularly happy about this detail.

The tiny deer doll trying to drink from one of the cups.

However, Shiro seems to be having a bit of trouble sipping from the large mug.

The plates now piled with sandwiches and delightful cakes, all erasers of course.

Ah well, the food is ready and the tea is set.

The two ball jointed dolls, the smaller doll and the deer doll all sitting down to have some tea and snacks.

Let us partake.

And may Anna someday find us a suitable table to use for our tea parties.

Until then, be at peace my dear readers.

Pleasant comments are always welcome and appreciated.

But please, no anti-doll comments. They are unnecessary and a bit rude. We understand that some people find dolls creepy or weird, but this is a "doll blog" that is intended for those who enjoy dolls. If you dislike dolls that much, don't waste your time reading doll blogs.
